With each performance season, Opera Leggera produces three or more original musical/theatrical productions to the North Houston area. These theatrical productions preserve cultural values in the form of music, drama and historical dance. Through the years, Opera Leggera has produced more than 40 original productions which have become the quality entertainment enjoyed by the entire community. Each Opera Leggera production is original and presented by a cast of singers, dancers, actors, and musicians, professional and amateur alike. Opera Leggera also strives to give gifted youth and adults in the community the opportunity to perform alongside these professional artists in a wholesome, encouraging environment.
