In 2024, Gate Breaker Ministries carried out ministry both in the United States and through missions internationally. GBM was involved in fourteen large ministry events in 2024. Some of these included multiple day proceedings. These included training in various Bible Colleges in Idaho, California, Oregon, and Washington that use an intensive model. Also, there were many days of ministering in our mission trips to Kenya and Rwanda.Kenya: Regarding Kenya College of Ministry, we met three times during the year at BTL Conference Center in Ruiru, Kenya. I went in April, August, and December. For the April and December gatherings, we meet separately with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year students. Sometimes we also have a thesis class for those students seeking a degree. The August gathering is done in conference style with all year students together with alumni and potential future students. My wife, Kathleen, and another pastor came with me to teach the Christian leaders in August. There were approximately ninety (90) Christian leaders. We also had a team of sixteen who came from Capital Church in Meridian, Idaho to do ministry and outreach in the community. In December, another pastor accompanied me to train the leaders in Kenya.Rwanda: In August and December, I traveled to Kigali, Rwanda, after teaching in Kenya, to train pastors at conferences. The mission trips were preliminary to investigate the potential for starting a college for pastors. In 2024, the government of Rwanda closed thousands of churches, citing multiple reasons for the action, including a standard that head pastors must have a degree in theology. In August, Kathleen, and four alumni pastors from our college in Kenya traveled with me to Rwanda to put on a conference for about four hundred (400) pastors. In December, I returned to Kigali to teach at a small conference and to meet with a government official in the Department of Education. Pakistan: In 2024, GBM was able to send the final $50,000 allotment to finish construction of the Hope Secondary school for slave children in Kasur, Pakistan. It is scheduled to be completed and opened in 2025. In 2024, we had twenty-six (26) schools in Pakistan. Four (4) of the schools are trade schools to train disadvantaged women to become seamstresses. Twenty (20) of the schools are called GBM Primary Hope Schools for students up to fifth grade. These are in twenty (20) different brick yards, where around one thousand (1000) students attend our schools several hours five days per week. These children are considered slaves who work in the brick yards. The government of Pakistan does not educate them. Two (2) of the schools are called GBM Faith schools. One of these is for poor children in Lahore, Pakistan. The other one is in an Afghan refugee camp in Lahore. When the chief of the Afghan camp ask us to start the primary school, it was the only school for over 10,000 families.Our ministry website was transformed in 2020, and it continues to inform people of the goals and resources of GBM.
