THE ORGANIZATION TO DATE HAS DIAGNOSED/TREATED OVER 1,675 INDIVIDIUALS FROM THE SURROUNDING RURAL AREAS, COORDINATING WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS AND AGENCIES AND PROVIDING SERVICES FOR FREE OR AT A REDUCED COST. ALTHOUGH MIND MATTERS SERVES ALL AGES, 46% OF CLIENTS ARE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 6-12 YEARS OLD, WITH THE NEXT LARGEST GROUP BEING 18 YEARS AND ABOVE, MAKING UP 30% OF THE TOTAL CLIENTS SERVED. MOST OF THE ORGANIZATION'S CLIENTS HAVE MULTIPLE DIAGNOSES, BUT THE LARGEST PRIMARY DIAGNOSIS IS FOR ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER AND ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER [ADHD] WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER [ASD] AS THE SECOND PRIMARY DIAGNOSIS. ALL OF THE ORGANIZATION'S PATIENTS SEE EITHER DR. THOMPSON OR DR. SIMONS BEFORE SEEING ONE OF THE ORGANIZATION'S COUNSELORS AND/OR PARTICIPATING IN ONE OF THEIR EDUCATIONAL LEARNING PROGRAMS.
