WorkshopADDITIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS IN 2024 Received renewal of a two-year organizational grant from Los Angeles Department of Arts & Culture, supporting the HOPE Series and other pro-bono programs. Continued to pilot the well-received Beat the Odds Youth-Led Model, begun in fall 2023. Expanded expressive arts group programs at the West LA VA Campus in partnership with the UCLA|VA Veteran Family Wellbeing Center.Continued to draw geographically and culturally diverse populations to training programs; for example,46% of 2024 Certificate Program trainees were POC, and 12.5% identified as Indigenous. Increased contract services by 11% including those for vulnerable populations, such as K-12 youth with disabilities, veterans, and formerly incarcerated gang members.Served on advisory board for New Jersey Performing Arts Center with Rutgers University in their development of asynchronous training programs on such topics as trauma-informed care, evidence-based program development, and social connection across the lifespan for artists and arts organizations nationwide.
