OLHC STAFF LEADS AND/OR PARTICIPATE IN ADVOCACY THAT RESULTS IN A PUBLIC POLICY CHANGE THAT WILL ELIMINATE HEALTH DISPARITIES AND IMPROVE THE HEALTH CARE STATUS OF LATINOS AND LATINAS IN OREGON. THE POLICY & ADVOCACY TEAM HAVE IMPLEMENTED THE ACCESS TO OUR HEALTHIER OREGON PROGRAM. ADDITIONALLY, THE TEAM HAS FOCUSED AND HAVE RESEARCHED LOCAL AND NATIONAL TOBACCO PREVENTATIVE POLICIES AND HAVE COMPLETED A POLICY AND DATA BRIEF REGARDING LATINOS TOBACCO TRENDS IN OREGON. LASTLY, THE LATINO EMOTIONAL HEALTH COLLABORATIVE (LEHC) HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE 2019 AND IT IS A GROUP OF LATINO SPECIFIC SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS IN THE PORTLAND METRO REGION, WORKING TO DEFINE ADDRESS MENTAL AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICE GAPS FOR THE LATINO COMMUNITY IN OREGON.
