Teaching sustainable agriculture in Aru Junction, South Sudan. Since fire consumed the main building in our Juba location in December 2021, the main effort last year was to gather what remains of value and to establish a new teaching farm at a new location. Work began at the new site in Aru Junction in 2022 and continued throughout 2023. Clearing and organizing teaching fields, digging a new well to support drip irrigation, and building two small structures to house the tools and materials were all accomplished in 2023. Several individuals have received training as the work progresses to build a fully functional teaching farm.
