The foundation made a trip to the school in January 2020, but given the COVID outbreak in 2020, and the associated travel restrictions that followed, the foundation elected to focus on providing the continued financial and moral support for the Al Balko School completed in 2018. The foundation provided additional financial support for the Louise Mulligan Guest House (LMGH) constructed by the foundation in 2015. Typically the LMGH is generally self supporting through the minimal fees obtained from visiting mission groups etc. However, the pandemic had virtually eliminated all international traffic to Haiti. Consequently, the foundation covered the operational costs of security, utilities and related expenses until travel conditions improve.
