ENCOURAGING RESEARCH TO IMPROVE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF INTENSIVISTS WHO MANAGE CRITICALLY ILL SURGICAL PATIENTS. E. REPRESENTING THE INTERESTS OF THE SOCIETY TO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS, INDIVIDUALS AND GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES OR REGULATORY BODIES.
