CMCP MEMBER BENEFITS - Non-Conference Events & Programs. CMCP holds networking events, substantive legal programs, and diversity and professional development programs throughout California, all focused on bringing together in-house and outside counsel in an atmosphere conducive to meeting, building relationships and showing minority counsel skills. CMCP Ambassadors Council - CMCP launched the CMCP Ambassadors Council (CMCPAC) in 2016. The CMCPAC consists of young attorneys of color at member organizations selected for leadership ability and commitment to diversity. Objectives of the CMCPAC include professional development of its members by providing them responsibilities for outreach to other young lawyers of color, and expansion of CMCPs abilities to be active across California. CMCPAC typically operates by organizing mixers and programs and assisting in mainline CMCP programs and events.
