IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SJC HEALTH, 166 HOUSEHOLDS PARTICIPATING IN THE ISLAND GROWN FOOD ACCESS PROGRAM SHOPPED AT FARM STANDS, FARMERS MARKETS, THE FOOD HUB AND FOOD CO-OPS, SERVING 351 PEOPLE ACROSS THE COUNTY. "ISLAND GROWN IN SAN JUANS" MARKETING PROGRAM AND WEBSITE WAS UPDATED AND INCLUDES A PARTNERSHIP WITH WA FOOD AND FARM FINDER INTERACTIVE MAP. ASSISTED SJI'S CONSERVATION DISTRICT AND SJ MAKERS GUILD WITH 30 FARM TOURS OVER THREE WEEKENDS WITH 1800+ ATTENDEES. THE FARMERS-TO-FARMLAND PROGRAM LAUNCHED A PEER-TO-PEER MENTORING PROGRAM AND CONNECTED 104 PARTICIPANTS TO RESOURCES AND LAND OPPORTUNITIES. SUPPORTED A NEW SHARED LAND ACCESS MODEL ON SAN JUAN ISLAND THAT WILL PROVIDE BEGINNING FARMERS SHARED LAND ACCESS AND INFRASTRUCTURE. TWO WORKSHOPS ON FINDING FARM FUNDING AND GRANT WRITING FOR FARMERS WITH MORE THAN 50 PARTICIPANTS.
