Volunteers in Medicine staff and volunteers provide quality medical and dental care without charge to local uninsured patients. In 2025, 848 low-income adult patients received compassionate care at 5,850 medical and 1,084 dental appointments. The clinics diabetic education initiative equipped 77% of diabetic patients to maintain their A1c level below 9% in 2025, and preventive care initiatives provided breast cancer screenings for 70% of clinic female patients. Medical services are provided 5 days a week in New Braunfels and 1 day a week in Canyon Lake. Services include diagnosis and management of chronic diseases, laboratory analysis, treatment of acute illnesses, and preventative care. Dental services include basic dental care, dental hygiene, and restorative care. The clinic provides consistent access to health care services to adults who are ineligible for government-sponsored care and yet cannot afford to purchase insurance. In 2025, patients avoided $3.2 million in medical debt.

Kids Club staff and volunteers create a fun, engaging environment where kids thrive through positive relationships with caring adults. Kids grow academically, expand life skills and develop Godly character. In 2025, 326 elementary students participated in after-school programming where they enjoyed help with reading and homework, Bible stories and healthy meals. Most students (83%) achieved high ratings or showed improvement in key social skills cheerful obedience, demonstrating kindness and focused attention. Every program day, caring adult volunteers read aloud with students to help kids strengthen skills and develop a love of reading. 56% of students report that they want to get a lot better at reading and 78% of students report that they love to read bible stories. Kids Club provided 10,691 meals for at-risk children during the year. School-recommended students from 14 area schools participated twice a week in programming provided across five sites.
