In 2024 NVAHA established team members in each Northern Virginia jurisdiction to lead advocacy and policy efforts, hosted 11 lunch and learn sessions reaching 1626 people, convened 6 bi-monthly meetings of the NVAHA Leadership Council, conducted research on housing needs, advocated for public policies and adequate financial investments to develop and preserve affordable housing, partnered with underserved communities to elevate their participation in public discourse, conducted the rising housing leaders program, and sent out a monthly regional housing newsletter to 2,700 readers. NVAHA also hosted events, including: Educate and Celebrate, Leckey Forum, and Regional Housing Leaders Awards Ceremony.
