IN ADDITION, THE FOUNDATION HAS ACCOMPLISHED ITS PURPOSE OF THE PRESERVATION OF HISTORICAL ANTIQUITIES AT HISTORIC SHIRLEY PLANTATION IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA. THE PROPERTIES AND MANY OF THE ARTIFACTS BEING PRESERVED ARE OVER 300 YEARS OLD AND HAVE IMMEASURABLE VALUE, HAVING SURVIVED THE CIVIL WAR AND OTHER HISTORICAL EVENTS.
