Acquisitions in 2023 were from 5 churches and 10 personal libraries. The CMI website is included in the "Performing Arts Web Archive" of the U.S. Library of Congress. There were 78,000 website page views, a 4% increase over 2022, 9,400 search page visits, and the mailing list now exceeds 8,000 addresses. A Rodgers hybrid organ model 205 is available for teaching and demonstration purposes.

Programs - CMI's programs and sacred music libraries have participation from every state in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia. Over 9 months of the year, there were 400 participants in 11 virtual programs and more than 100 attended 3 in-person events. These programs were presented by 14 recognized individuals in the fields of Christian worship and music and British composer/conductor Bob Chilcott in a Highland Park United Methodist Church co-sponsored program and hymn festival attended by some 2,000. In furtherance of hymn festivals, a CMI friend contributed $25,000 in 2023.
