UNDER THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAMS, THE ORGANIZATION WORKS WITH OTHER LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES TO REDUCE THE OVERALL LEVEL OF DRUG AND ALCOHOL USE IN MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA. AMONG THE GOALS ARE: 1) REDUCE UNDERAGE DRINKING AND OTHER DRUG USE AMONG TEENS 12-17; 2) REDUCE THE CONSEQUENCES OF TEEN ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG USE THROUGH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL STRATEGIES TARGETING COMMUNITY LEVEL RISK FACTORS AND CONTRIBUTING FACTORS; AND 3) ADVOCATE AND EDUCATE TO RAISE AWARENESS OF TEEN ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG USE.
