Eagle Wings Academy (EWA) provided 23 scholarships for primarily minority students living in the City of Syracuse unable to afford a Christian Education. The scholarships allowed the children to attend Faith Heritage School, 3740 Midland Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13205 (private school Grades K-12). We had 22 volunteers providing prayer support, individual encouragement as necessary, as well as assistance with academic needs. We had two employees during the year as we transitioned the Administrative Support Coordinator (ASC) position. The ASC provided intervention to ensure academic standards were being maintained, monitored progress to assist with deficit areas, and encouraged students to work up to their God-given potential. Students had opportunity to hear 19 different professionals from various occupations share their interest/passion and to answer questions from students.
