NCDDs online resource center provides thousands of referenced resources and best practices to educate people about dialogue and deliberation. NCDDs membership, which is open to everyone, includes approximately 300 organizations, practitioners, and scholars from across the U.S. and five other countries. The organization maintains monthly contact with over 20,000 people engaged in public participation and conflict resolution work via email announcements, sharing the latest news, opportunities, and resources related to group processes. The website offers thousands of posts on training and education opportunities, facilitator calls, news articles, and more. NCDD also creates opportunities for members to connect and share knowledge at national conferences and regional events, which over 3,925 people have attended. In 2023, NCDD expanded its online educational programming by offering webinars, workshops, working groups, and other practice-focused meetings, serving over 500 participants and introducing them to the latest innovations, practices, and tools in public engagement. NCDD continued its partnership with the American Library Association on the Libraries Transforming Communities Accessible Small and Rurual Communities Initiative. This continung initiative provides training and grants for accessible conversations and projects to improve library access for disabled communities. NCDD is creating a guide for grantees, as well as online and in-person training and content to support this initiative. More than 450 libraries have participated in the program to date, which will coninue in 2024.
