Vocational training and support: nonPareil is a post-secondary instructional program helping adults with autism progress toward their potential by integrating work-readiness training with hands-on technical instruction and social engagement opportunities in an inclusive environment. A research-based framework ensures that evidence-based instruction designed for adults with autism helps them achieve favorable outcomes. Our program provides a balance of structured training and individual flexibility geared to support each student's progress toward reaching their goals. The nonPareil approach helps prepare students to work on teams, gain valuable leadership experience, and thrive in a professional environment. nonPareil integrates professional development, workplace communication, and general social functioning training into the daily experiences of each student. nonPareil is most suited to assist students in achieving: enrolling/returning to college or higher education, preparing to transition to external employment or working within the institute on compensated projects through our PowerSourcing initiative or as a program staff member. We also provide IT Certification training in several disciplines to further prepare students for employment once their training is complete. nonPareil enables students to acquire skills while enhancing their ability to live a more meaningful and independent life. nonPareil has a proven track record of assisting this underserved group of people and successfully preparing them for increased independence and fulfilling lives. During 2024, nonPareil provided services to 445 people with autism.
