By partnering with other non-profits and organizations in America AHI is also a unique destination for volunteer teams and visitors of up to 22 people to stay at our 10-room private guesthouse while working in the surrounding villages living in abject poverty as well as primary high school and college preparatory schools on site. Students gain experience caring for these visitors who come throughout the year from all over America. Our volunteers are exposed to extreme poverty and work alongside villagers to help without harm offering their skills and talents to introduce ways to improve their lives through better sanitation education construction borehole repairs and forming long lasting friendships that change both the Ugandans and Americans for the better.
