In 2023 Chiron continued to provide training to thousandsof personnel around the nation from federal, regional, state, county, and local public serviceagencies through virtual platforms (Teams and Zoom), conferences, and workshops throughoutthe country. The Crisis Response Team (CRT) is now celebrating 25 years of service, supportedby our monthly training and supervision of the amazing CRT volunteers in service of ourcommunity members affected by tragedy and traumatic loss. We are very proud to share that ourSouthern Oregon High-Tech Crimes Task Force Behavioral Health, Wellness, and ResilienceProgram successfully completed its ninth year of service, continuing to serve as THE modelrelated to imbedded mental health support for those combating child exploitation and sexualabuse. Additionally, Chiron continued our formal partnership with the Wildland FirefighterFoundation to provide essential mental health services to the Wildland community and theirloved ones. Finally, Chirons Still Standing Equine Programs continued to provide highlyeffective and well-received experiential workshops and trainings throughout the year withuniformed personnel and their loved ones.

Chirons Clinical Programs Division provided mental health support tohundreds of front line responders and their loved ones from over 40 different public serviceagencies in 2023, related to current and past issues specific to critical incidents; acute andcumulative work-related stress; family and relationship support; illness; grief and loss; addiction;anxiety; depression; PTSD; and suicidality. Less than half of these agencies have any formalmental health support available to their personnel and their families. The rest of the serviceswere offered pro bono or at very little cost thanks to the generous grants and donations thatChiron received during the year, allowing us to reduce barriers, and maximize access to mentalhealth treatment and loved ones support. Chirons Crisis Response Team (CRT) Programcontinued to provide much needed information, support, and resources at the scene of incidentsupon law enforcement and EMS request for our community members; and our Critical IncidentResponse Team (CIRT) coordinated support efforts and/or responded to numerous criticalincidents in direct support of our uniformed personnel and their loved ones including: line ofduty death, mass-casualty incidents, suicides, homicides, fatal traffic collisions, fatal fires, childdeaths, and officer-involved shootings.
