Education/Outreach: Live by Living spent significant time re-building our connections with cancer treatment centers. Contacting over 100 nurses, social workers, nurse navigators and managers at dozens of different treatment centers. Treatment centers are the primary source of referrals for our various programs. We distributed over 5,000 brochures, appeared on a local daytime TV news and feature program, and were featured in a news story in two local daily papers, the Vail Daily and the Summit (County) Daily. We also hosted booths at a half-dozen cancer survivor-oriented events.
