The Forum hosts several annual events providing in-depth exposure to the latest advances in IT, product development, emerging technologies, and innovation strategies. The goal is for participants to leave the Forum with fresh ideas for achieving their company goals and their own career objectives. The Six Series program, launched in 2022 in collaboration with various educators from top US universities, including professors from Harvard Business School and Stanford University, is divided into several activities throughout the year. Below is a brief description of CTO Forums activities conducted in 2023:A. Rethink Digital Six Series II. Module 4: Rethink Data Science This executive education program is the fourth of its Six Series II. This module explored technologies that are transforming and expanding the footprint and value of Data Science across various business sectors. The goal of this conference was to explore opportunities and techniques to leverage the latest and most impactful Data Science breakthroughs and business applications. Topics included Data Movement, Storage, Privacy, and Security; Big Data, Big Compute, Analytics, and Visualization; Blockchain; Distributed Ledgers, Smart Contracts, and DeFi; and Digital Platforms. The program was conducted via Zoom Video Conference on March 2 and 3, 2023.B. Rethink Digital Six Series II. Module 5: Rethink RoboticsThis module explored how Digital Transformation across industries is accelerating through increased automation and advancements in robotics solutions. Topics included Robotic Process Automation; Robots and Cobots; Autonomous Vehicles and Drones;Digital Twins which are representations of actual physical products, processes, or ecosystems, can be used to run virtual simulations and how augmented design enables machines to enhance human creativity and design processes. This two-day program was held via Zoom Video Conference on May 4 and 5, 2023.C. Rethink Digital Six Series II. Module 6: Rethink Generative AIThis module examined mechanisms that are accelerating the Digital Transformation Flywheel through the latest breakthroughs in Generative AI. Topics included Generative versusDiscriminative AI Modeling; Generative AI Tools such as ChatGPT, DALL-E, MidJourney; Transformative AI and Human-Machine Co-Creativity; and Regulating AI Development. The program emphasized the ability of Generative AI to automate and generate data faster, reduce costs, and improve customer experience. This two-day program was successfully held via Zoom on August 2 and 3, 2023.D. 2023 Summit Rethink Digital Six Series I The 2023 Summit took place at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Half Moon Bay. It continued the Six Series I: Designing the Transformation Flywheel. During this two-day Rethink Digital Summit, participants revisited and fine-tuned the Digital Transformation Flywheel template with an AI-First vision, covering topics such as Rethink Customers, Rethink Strategy, Rethink Culture, Rethink Operations, Rethink Data, Rethink Technology, and Rethink Design. This event was held on November 2 and 3, 2023.E. Knowledge CenterThe Knowledge Center is a big data repository that provides a unique opportunity for members to continue learning between conferences. Members can catch up on main segments of any event, including keynote addresses, and download PDFs of presentations and notes. CTO Forum posts event-related content, including video footage, presentations, and other archives from previous events. The contents from the 2023 Rethink Series II, Modules 4, 5, and 6, and the 2023 Submit are also available in the Knowledge Center.
