CCAW OPERATES A NO-KILL SHELTER PROVIDING INTAKE, MEDICAL CARE, ENRICHMENT, AND PLACEMENT FOR DOGS AND CATS. IN 2025, THE ORGANIZATION COMPLETED 116 ADOPTIONS AND TRANSFERRED 29 ANIMALS TO RESCUE PARTNERS TO ENSURE APPROPRIATE OUTCOMES. CCAW ASSISTS WITH LOST-PET RECOVERY AND REUNIFICATION, SUCCESSFULLY REUNITING 23 ANIMALS WITH THEIR FAMILIES IN 2025. OUR PET FOOD PANTRY IS USED TO PREVENT PET SURRENDER DUE TO FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, CCAW DISTRIBUTED 3,580 FREE PET FOOD BAGS TO 594 FAMILIES IN 2025. CCAW FACILITATED 326 SPAY/NEUTER SURGERIES IN 2025, INCLUDING 252 FOR COMMUNITY ANIMALS, REDUCING OVERPOPULATION AND IMPROVING ANIMAL HEALTH. THROUGH ITS FACILITY AND OUTREACH, CCAW PROVIDES EDUCATION, REFERRALS, AND SUPPORT FOR RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP AND HUMANE ANIMAL MANAGEMENT. BOARDING OF CATS AND DOGS WAS OFFERED TO LOCAL RESIDENTS AND TOURISTS TO GIVE THEM A SAFE PLACE TO STAY WHILE THEIR OWNERS WERE AWAY.
