The first Program Service Accomplishment was a bowling event that took place at the WHITESTONE LANES. Whitestone Lanes is a bowling establishment that caters to bowling. That was the first fundraiser that we decided to do because our son who the foundation is named after loves to bowl. so we decide to have a get together at the Whitestone Lanes. First we had to rent out lanes for a certain amount of people, rent out the snack bar that served finger food, and for the hard core drinkers, rent out the bar. The crowd participation was amazing. It was a diverse crowd consisting of men, women, and children of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences. Great time, great night. Fundraising was good, but the initial out of pocket expenses was steep to say the least. All for a great cause.

Each year around Christmas holidays the board members select a hospital that has a children's heart ward. Toys are purchased and delivered to that hospital either in person or dropped off to the medical staff who can role play with the patients in the heart ward..also Trey who the foundation is named after loves basketball. With that passion along with family and friends who volunteer, we hold clinics at local gyms that allow us to share trey's basketball skills, doing drills with others players and participants who wants to learn the game but most importantly sharing with parents the need to educate them and the public about Coarctation Of The Aorta ( C.O.T.A ) and the importance of early detection in children.

The third Program Service Accomplishment was my son's fourth (4th ) and final heart surgery that he had to experience as a freshman in high school. Surgery took place in Boston Massachusetts at The Children's Hospital, Cardiac Ward. The team of doctors were amazing. They had to put a stint inside his aorta organ to keep it from closing which is why it's called Coaortation Of The Aorta. That stint would keep the organ open so blood could flow to the entire body giving him the rich oxygen he needs. Checkups are still yearly, but it's by GOD'S PERMISSION that he is given a chance to experience this life that many children and adults did not get that chance because C.O.T.A. if not treated with professional medical attention, life can be lost. so this is why we use his foundation to educate the public and make them aware of this silent killer.
