The purpose of RainCatcher is to provide rainwater harvesting systems to schools and communities that lack access to clean water. RainCatcher also provides filtration systems and education to the communities that we serve. In 2018, we partnered with Soft Power Education and funded water harvesting systems to primary and dormitory schools in Jinja, Uganda. We currently have 79 projects in Uganda that have provided rainwater harvesting systems to those in need. Our staff visited our projects in Uganda during FY18 to ensure that they were running properly and to assess project maintenance. Repairs were done on existing projects that consisted of tap and gutter repair.
