The community members took ownership of the facility on September 23rd, 2009. Without this facility local residents would be forced to move away from their friends, family, and community. The organization provides quality health care services to the elderly and any adult who has a chronic illness or disability that requires 24 hour care. There is a special care unit for Alzheimer's patients. McIntosh Senior Living now provides a certified nursing assistant education program and trained medication aide program for current employees and community members.
