The Prevention program provides eviction prevention to families with children at risk of losing their current housing and move-in assistance is available to families that need assistance to regain permanent housing. Short term case management to ensure sustainability and stability is provided to families for whom financial assistance has been provided. The Shelter and Engagement program provides emergency shelter to families with minor children experiencing homelessness. Historically, families stayed as guests of our local congregational partners overnight at their site while volunteers provide shelter, food, and other hospitality services. With congregational partners increasingly unable or unwilling to host families, a pivot to motel and static site shelter commenced in 2025. Holistic and intensive case management and supportive services are provided by staff in accordance with each individualized Family Plan. Additional outreach, community engagement, referrals, and advocacy services are provided to those seeking services. In 2025, 24 families and 49 children were assisted by the Shelter and Engagement program.
