THE GROUP ACHIEVES THIS MISSION IN THREE WAYS: 1) RUNNING A SERIES OF SOCIAL DANCES THAT FEATURE AUTHENTIC LIVE JAZZ MUSIC OR DJD MUSIC FROM THE TIME PERIOD. 2) SUPPORTING A NETWORK OF TEACHERS IN THEIR STUDIO TO PROVIDE LESSONS TO STUDENTS OF ALL LEVELS. 3) COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS TO EXPOSE THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO DANCE AND JAZZ MUSIC IN THE COMMUNITY. THESE INCLUDE FREE OUTDOOR SUMMER DANCES, PARTICIPATION IN COMMUNITY EVENTS, AND VOLUNTEERING IN LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS OR SCHOOLS TO TEACH DANCE.
