Developed and presented educational webinars and E-learning courses for the benefit of the membership as part of an effort to provide timely information to that membership concerning developments in the field of laboratory hematology. Education network is designed in part to familiarize pathologists with the current diagnostic workup of systemic mastocytosis (SM) and to help them to recognize the morphologic features, chose the appropriate ancillary testing (e.g., high sensitivity molecular KIT testing, flow cytometric studies, myeloid mutation testing by next-generation sequencing, etc.) and integrate clinical data to diagnose and classify SM.
