TeamLift, Inc and St. Marys Secondary School for Girls graduated its fifth class of 145 students in July 2024 One-hundred percent of the graduates passed the Malawi college entrance exam. St Marys Secondary remains one of the highest-ranked educational institutions in the country, and remain committed to educating young women whose families struggle economically. TeamLift and its partners currently support 306 of our graduates in Malawi colleges. We also have dug a total of 245 boreholes in the past three years rural villages and in Dzaleka Refugee camp. Students from Notre Dame University and the University of Portland spent time working with our school and local villagers this past summer. They developed a business plan to initiate TeamLifts sunflower seed into cooking oil processing plant. TeamLift purchased and is planting 125 acres of farmland to grow sunflower seeds.
