THE MISSION OF THE WOODSIDE-PORTOLA VALLEY FIRE PROTECTION FOUNDATION (CONT. SCH. SPECIFICALLY, THE FIRE FOUNDATION HAS THREE GOALS: 1) PROVIDE FOR STATE OF THE ART EMERGENCY RESPONSE DURING FIRE, RESCUE, EMERGENCY MEDICAL INCIDENTS AND NATURAL DISASTERS. 2) PROVIDE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS TO FACILITIES AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE EQUIPMENT AND APPARATUS. 3) PROVIDE FOR THE ENHANCEMENT OF SAFETY, FIRE PREVENTION, DISASTER AWARENESS AND EDUCATION.
