THE MCCOY HOUSE PROVIDES A VARIETY OF SERVICES HELPING RESIDENTS TO GROW IN THEIR RECOVERY. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES THE STRUCTURE AND GUIDANCE TO TRANSITION FROM INPATIENT TREATMENT TO INDEPENDENT LIVING AS WELL AS OFFERING STRUCTURE TO THOSE NEW IN RECOVERY THAT MAY BE ATTENDING INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAMS OR JUST MAY HAVE A NEED FOR MORE STRUCTURE AND ACCOUNTABILITY WHILE MOVING THROUGH EARLY RECOVERY.SERVICES INCLUDE YOGA CLASSES, INTUITIVE ART CLASSES, A LOW ELEMENT ROPES COURSE ON SITE WITH QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO ATTENDS EQUINE THERAPY AND HAS GROUP ACTIVITIES AND OUTINGS. VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE COOKING INSTRUCTIONS AND ALL PARTICIPATE IN THE MAKING OF DELICIOUS MEALS.THE MCCOY HOUSE CONTRACTS WITH AN INDEPENDENT THERAPIST WHO WORKS WITH ANY CLIENTS NOT ENROLLED IN AN INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (IOP) AND ASSISTS WITH OTHER NEEDS THAT ARISE. OFFERING THESE SERVICES THE MCCOY HOUSE HAS HELPED TWENTY-THREE LADIES IN 2023. RESIDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND A MINIMUM OF THREE 12 STEP MEETINGS EACH WEEK.
