IN 2024, OUT FOR SUSTAINABILITY (OUT4S) BUILT ON ITS MISSION TO PROMOTE INCLUSIVE AND EQUITABLE GLOBAL CLIMATE POLICY AT ALL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT AND ACROSS GEOGRAPHIES THROUGH THE DIRECT INCLUSION OF QUEER EXPERIENCES, BY ELEVATING THE VISIBILITY OF LGBTQ+ NEEDS IN CLIMATE DISCUSSIONS AT THE UN, REGIONAL FORUMS, NATIONAL, AND SUBNATIONAL STRATEGIES. OUT4S IS INCREASINGLY RECOGNIZED AS A RELIABLE AND EXPERT VOICE ON QUEER CLIMATE ADVOCACY AMONG GOVERNMENTS, UN BODIES, AND PEER ORGANIZATIONS. OUT FOR SUSTAINABILITY STRENGTHENED OUR COMMUNITY BY FOSTERING STRONGER NETWORKS BETWEEN CLIMATE JUSTICE, LGBTQ+, GENDER EQUALITY, AND HUMAN RIGHTS ADVOCATES, WHILE ALSO CONTRIBUTING DIRECTLY WITH INPUTS INTO POLICY FRAMEWORKS THAT SHAPED REVISIONS TO MAJOR CLIMATE, GENDER, AND HUMAN RIGHTS REPORTS, POLICIES, AND LEGISLATIONS AT ALL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT.
