The Mission of the Hospice Foundation for Jefferson Healthcare is to educate our communities about the value and benefit of Hospice services and raise fund in support of end-of-life services by the Hospice of Jefferson Healthcare. The Foundation is an all-volunteer board collaborating with Hospice staff to determine the funds needed by the Hospice for services not covered by Medicare or private insurance. These services include comfort care such as massage therapy, music therapy and bereavement services. The Foundation also provides educational articles on end-of-life issues on our web site, HospiceFoundationjhc.org. In 2022, we provided over 1800 hours of service.
