Hayden RR Bridge was put up for sale after an extensive years long effort to find a public entity to take ownership. After 3 attempts we were able to successfully complete the sale for 5000 in December of 2023 for a very small amount of funds. We held an event two really one was rained out and postponed. This outreach in the final analysis was successful in putting the bridge into local ownership

The Broadway Bridge inFrankfort KY has been on the demolition block for years.This followup visit was made when the engineers city held a public event describing the outcomes they wanted for the bridge which was to save a truss but move the bridge. It was important to be there in support of a past contract with the FrankfortCounty Trust for Historic Preservation. We gave them our opinion which was the bridge was fine in it's original location the pier was described and there is hope for preservation.
