The Girls Leadership Summit was held at the Central Washington University as a three-day, in-person program from Friday through Sunday. Approximately 25 high school girls participated, residing on campus in university dormitories for two nights to provide a full college immersion experience. The Summit delivered a combination of educational and enrichment-based workshops designed to support personal growth, confidence, and leadership development. Programming included activities such as dance, music, martial arts, and other structured sessions focused on teamwork, self-expression, and skill-building.Participants were primarily recruited from underserved communities and Title I schools across King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties. A core objective of the program was to expose students to a college campus environment, many for the first time, with the goal of inspiring higher education aspirations, including pathways toward becoming first-generation college students.
