HELP DESK: ONE OF THE PRIMARY GOALS OF LPRC IS TO KEEP LATINO STATIONS THAT RECEIVE COMMUNITY SERVICE GRANTS COMPLIANT WITH THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THAT PROGRAM. WORKING WITH OUR MEMBER STATIONS AND THE CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING,, LPRC HELP DESK IS AVAILABLE TO SUPPORT STATIONS DAILY WITH THEIR AREAS OF CONCERNS. THE HELP DESK RESPONDS TO STATIONS REQUESTS AND ADDRESSES THEM THROUGH ONE-ON-ONE PHONE CALLS, WEBINARS, AN INFOBLAST EMAIL, PANEL PRESENTATIONS AT THE SUMMIT OR THROUGH STATION VISITS. THE HELP DESK ALSO WORKS WITH MEMBER STATIONS INTERESTED IN APPLYING FOR THE CSG GRANT.

VIA THE 5X5 MODEL, LPRC WORKS TO HELP YOUR STATIONS GROW AND PROGRESS THROUGH FIVE [5] PHASES THEREBY IMPROVING STATIONS PERFORMANCE IN THE INDICATED AREAS. ANNUAL SUMMIT: LPRC ANNUALLY CONVENES A SUMMIT FOR LATINO STATIONS AND LATINOS WORKING IN PUBLIC MEDIA TO GATHER AS A COMMUNITY AND EXCHANGE IDEAS, RESOURCES, DISCUSS COMMON CONCERNS AND TO NETWORK. THERE ARE FORMAL WORKSHOPS AND PANELS, MIXED WITH AN EXCHANGE OF STATIONS SUPPORTING STATIONS, IMPORTANT PUBLIC MEDIA DISCOURSE BETWEEN STATION MANAGEMENT, COLLEAGUES, AND INDUSTRY FOLK. IN 2018, THE MÁS PUBLIC MEDIA SUMMIT 2018 WAS HELD IN MIAMI IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF HISPANIC JOURNALISTS.
