The Guibord Center (TGC) continues to be the major co-convener with the National Council of Churches of Christ in the USA for the Christian-Buddhist and Christian-Hindu dialogue tables. The purpose of these dialogues is to bring together leaders from faith traditions in pursuit of common understandings and solidarity. TGC's outreach program for school leaders is titled Integrating Spirituality. Implementation of this program in 2025 included sessions for teachers, administrators and additional staff in K-12 and higher education schools. It also included an exploration of collaboration with leaders of several youth-oriented organizations. A partnership with local pre-K-12 schools demonstrated the program, which is based on robust scientific research regarding the neuroprotective benefits of nurturing innate spirituality to fight depression, addiction, and suicide in young people. These interactive workshops provide participants practice identifying and connecting with their own spiritual/authentic core. Through these experiences, they learn how to better incorporate these skills into their work with students. TGC continues to provide educational and experiential programs free of charge through its library of over 100 videos of original TGC programming. Faith and spiritual practices and teachings offered by key leaders from each religion or spirituality are available through the website at www.theguibordcenter.org. Take Heart Now- Spiritual Tools for Centering and Compassion is our monthly series featuring inspiring and deeply personal presentations from a wide range of notable leaders across the country. These presentations are then made available on the website. Each year special programs are created to fulfill the mission to bring people together. In 2025 the program "Feel the Spirit Moving: A Special Evening of Spiritual Stories and Strength with Charles Lane Ensemble" was presented live and filmed for future use through the website. TGC's film "ANIMA: Animals. Faith. Compassion." continues to be shared in schools to inspire meaningful conversations about interfaith cooperation, compassion, and the ethical values of respect for all life.
