DURING THE TRIP, CYCLISTS ARE EDUCATING COMMUNITIES AND SPREADING AWARENESS OF MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS IN PERSON, IN TELEVISION INTERVIEWS, NEWSPAPER ARTICLES, AND VIA SOCIAL MEDIA. CYCLISTS ALSO STOP TO VOLUNTEER FOR INDIVIDUALS LIVING WITH MS ACROSS THE NATION. THESE VOLUNTEER PROJECTS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, HOUSE CLEANING, YARD WORK, HEAVY LIFTING, PAINTING, AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT MAY BE DIFFICULT FOR THOSE LIVING WITH MS TO DO. DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR MORE THAN 300,000 MILES WERE CUMULATIVELY PEDALED AND OVER 2,000 HOURS OF VOLUNTEERING WERE COMPLETED BY CYCLIST VOLUNTEERS.
