SUSTAINABLE PROSPERITY, INC. CREATED A PROGRAM CALLED DAY ONE DISASTER RELIEF DURING HURRICANES FLORENCE AND MICHAEL IN ORDER TO RAPID SOURCE AND DELIVER SUPPLIES TO THOSE AFFECTED BY HURRICANES. THE PROGRAM SPECIFICALLY TARGETED FRONT LINE COMMUNITIES AND POPULATIONS THAT BEGAN THE STORM AT A FINANCIAL NET ZERO OR LESS. THE FOUNDER OF THE PROGRAM WAS JIL CHRISTENSEN. IN 2020, IN RESPONSE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC, DAY ONE DISASTER RELIEF FOCUSED ON SECURING MASKS, PPE, SANITIZER IN ADDITION TO OTHER EMERGENCY RELIEF ITEMS TO PROVIDE TO AT RISK COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE STATE AS WELL AS COMMUNITIES AFFECTED BY HURRICANES AND OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS. THESE ITEMS WERE DISTRIBUTED VIA DONATED SERVICES AS WELL AS BY A VAN PURCHASED IN 2019. DAY ONE DISASTER RELIEF DELIVERED THOUSANDS OF MASKS, PPE, HAND AND SURFACE SANITIZER TO COMMUNITIES ACROSS NORTH CAROLINA. THE PROGRAM WAS STAFFED AND LED BY JIL CHRISTENSEN WHO WAS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL INFORMATION CONTAINED HEREIN RELATING TO DAY ONE DISASTER RELIEF. THIS PROGRAM HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN SPUN OUT AND MANAGED BY JIL CHRISTENSEN WITH A NEW NON-PROFIT. RESEARCHED A PROGRAM TO SEND SHELF-READY STABLE MEALS TO HURRICANE VICTIMS.
