The board voted in November 2022 at their annual board meeting to adopt four focus areas for the foundation. They are Faith, Fluency, Fitness, and Future.Faith is our FCA clubs which are now active again in the six high schools. The foundation gave a donation to each club and is sponsoring a Fields of Faith on February 25th. In our Fluency program, Director Dianne Owen worked with two of the board membersJudge Kenny Wilson and Judge Todd Cooperto ask the judges to help sponsor the KY Imagination Library in HC, BC, and CC which was done. CCs Judge Terry helped his county. LC and FC have programs as well that already existed.Children Birth to Preschool get free books sent to their home every month. We also started our intervention program at Fulton County where we purchased Sonday System kits and trained school personnel on how to provide reading interventions to students who are struggling readers. We will expand this program throughout the other schools
