LOUISIANA CLINICAL SERVICES, INC. (THE CORPORATION) FACILITATES THE DELIVERY OF FREE HEALTH CARE AND RELATED SOCIAL SERVICES TO INDIGENT PERSONS IN LOUISIANA. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, PSYCHIATRIC INPATIENT TREATMENT SERVICES, VOCATIONAL AND REHABILITATIVE SERVICES, DENTAL SERVICES, IN-HOME CARE SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES, NAVIGATION LIAISON SERVICES FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, SERVICES TO REDUCE THE EXPOSURE OF CHILDREN TO LEAD AND REDUCE LEAD POISONING AND ADDICTION TREATMENT SERVICES. THE CORPORATION PROVIDES THESE SERVICES THROUGH INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS, WITH ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE FROM VARIOUS STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES AND UNITS. THE CORPORATION CURRENTLY HAS APPROXIMATELY 130 CONTRACTS FOR SERVICES WITH INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS. THE CORPORATION'S CONTRACTED PROVIDERS FURNISH SERVICES IN VARIOUS CARE SETTINGS ACROSS THE STATE OF LOUISIANA. THESE SETTINGS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, CARE PROVIDED IN HOMES, TEMPORARY RESIDENTIAL ADDICTION TREATMENT CENTERS, AND INPATIENT PSYCHIATRIC FACILITIES.
