Homeless Youth Connection (HYC) is proud to report several accomplishments related to program goals, including 95% of youth experiencing homelessness who participated in the program, stayed in school, and completed their education. During the 2024-2025 school year, HYC served 705 youth experiencing homelessness. In May 2024, 406 youth were actively participating in the program. Of those youth, 159 were high school seniors. Of those 129 graduated, 27 will enroll in the fall school year, and four youth were undecided.Of the 129 graduating seniors, 92 will enroll in college, eight will enroll in vocational training, and nine will enlist in the military. Of all the graduates, 96 have applied or entered the workforce.This past year, 42 unaccompanied youth participated in HYC's housing program. Twenty-five youths participated in the Hatcher Transitional Living program, 15 youth were in the Host Family, and two resided in the Flagstaff transitional home. Of the 42, 28 were graduating seniors and seven were in their first year of college.
