Ascension Texas Cardiovascular, through the PSA, is dedicated to improving access to patients in need of cardiology care in Central Texas, especially for those in our population who are most vulnerable. Cardiology services provided to the community through Ascension Texas Cardiovascular include but are not limited to: * General cardiology * Advanced cardiac imaging * Interventional coronary therapies * Chest pain clinic * Electrophysiology * Afib clinic * Women's heart health clinic * Structural heart therapies - TAVR, Mitraclip, LAAO implants * Peripheral vascular intervention * Vascular medicine * Advanced heart failure * Heart transplant and mechanical circulatory support * ECMO * Heart failure bridge clinic * Cardiac rehabilitation * Adult congenital care * The first dedicated Chest Pain clinic in Central Texas * The first dedicated Cardiovascular Fellowship training programs in Central Texas (general cardiology, interventional, electrophysiology) * Cardio-oncology Some of the services listed above operate at a loss in order to ensure that all services are available to meet community health care needs. Ascension Texas Cardiovascular furthers its charitable purposes by providing a broad array of cardiovascular services to the community. Accomplishments: Established clinical relationship through PSA agreement to expand access to cardiovascular services in the broad Central Texas area.
