Each of our workshops used artistic modalities including short film, creative writing, and poetry to explore unique mental health journeys, promote mental wellness, and connect participants with concrete resources for support. In post-workshop evaluations, between 81% of participants reported an increased likelihood to seek support for their own mental health.

Short Film InitiativesThrough our annual production grant program and our short film competitions, we awarded 13 filmmakers a total of $81,000 in support of their work exploring mental health from a wide range of perspectives and lived experiences. Voices With Impacts themes this year were stories specific to 1) serious mental illness and 2) cliques and echo chambers. The week-long, online film festival attracted approximately 1,500 participants from around the world.
