THIS SOCIETY WAS FOUNDED ON APRIL 1, 2009 BY A GROUP OF LAKE AREA FIREFIGHTERS WHO HAD A PASSION FOR THE CAMARADERIE AND BROTHERHOOD FORGED BETWEEN FIREFIGHTERS AND THE RICH TRADITION AND HERITAGE OF THE FIRE SERVICE. ALL FIREFIGHTERS ARE WELCOME TO BE A PART OF THIS ORGANIZATION. THE ONLY QUALIFICATION IS THATYOU ARE TRUE TO YOUR PROFESSION AND TO YOUR BROTHER AND SISTER FIREFIGHTERS. THIS SOCIETY PROVIDES TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES AND ORGANIZES BENEFITS TO ASSIST FIRE FIGHTERS AND ALSO FAMILIES IN NEED AND THE COMMUNITIES. THIS CHAPTER IS ORGANIZED TO IMPLEMENT AND GIVE VOICE TO THE PRINCIPLES EMBODIED IN THE ABOVE STATEMENT AND TO: A) FUNCTION AS A FIRE SERVICE ENTITY SEPARATE AND DISTINCT FROM ANY AND ALL OTHER FIRE SERVICE BODIES; B) PROVIDE THE LAKE AREA FIREFIGHTERS THE CATALYST WHICH EMBODIES THE GROTH OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING; C) MOVE THE LAKE AREA FIREFIGHTERS' COLLECTIVE CONSCIENCE IN A POSITIVE DIRECTION BY BUILDING ON LONG STANDING TRADITION AND HONOR; D) ACQUIRE NEW MEMBERS
