THE SOCIETY RECOGNIZES THAT IT MUST ASSUME, ALSO, A ROLE OF ADVOCACY FOR THOSE WHO ARE DEFENSELESS OR VOICELESS. SOME 12 MILLION PERSONS ARE HELPED ANNUALLY BY VINCENTIANS IN THE UNITED STATES.
