ANNUAL ACCREDITATION FEES FOR THE OVER 350 PROGRAMS IN THE HEALTH INFORMATICS AND HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONS IN THE UNITED STATES AND PUERTO RICO. ITS ACCREDITATION DECISIONS ARE RELIED UPON BY (A) NATIONAL CERTIFICATION BOARDS, (B) HEALTHCARE RELATED EMPLOYERS, (C) STUDENTS, AND (D) THE PUBLIC. CAHIIM PROVIDES A STRUCTURED FRAMEWORK FOR ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS ENSURING SOUND EDUCATIONAL PRACTICES, WHICH INVOLVE FACULTY AND STAFF IN A COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION PLAN FOR THE ACADEMIC PROGRAM.
