ANGELS ON PATROL RECEIVED AN INCREDIBLE 428 REQUESTS FROM LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS IN 2023. THESE REQUESTS TRANSLATED INTO MEANINGFUL ASSISTANCE FOR 2,352 INDIVIDUALS, COMPRISING OF 620 ADULTS AND 1,732 YOUTH. EXAMPLES OF ASSISTANCE PROVIDED ARE SECURING AND PAYING FOR MOTEL STAYS SO VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND THEIR CHILDREN MAY BE SAFE WHILE WAITING FOR A CONNECTION TO A SHELTER OR OTHER SAFE ALTERNATIVE. OTHER EXAMPLES ARE PROVIDING FOOD, CLOTHING, HOUSING ITEMS, EMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION TO FLEE ABUSE, BIKES FOR KIDS TO SAFELY GET TO SCHOOL, YOUTH ENRICHMENT SUPPORT FOR AT-RISK YOUTH, AND PROVIDING OTHER BASIC NEEDS THAT ON-DUTY OFFICERS ENCOUNTER AND DESIRE TO FILL. SINCE OUR FOUNDING, AOP HAS TOUCHED THE LIVES OF AN ASTOUNDING 22,160 INDIVIDUALS, A TESTAMENT TO OUR UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACT IN OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.
