Pleasant Grove Food Pantry is a strategic food distribution partner of the North Texas Food Bank fighting food insecurity in Pleasant Grove and southeastern Dallas. During the year the organization served over 2,267 food insecure-households on a bi-weekly basis representing 16,163 accumulated household food distributions to families. This assistance served approximately 26,823 Adults 11,382 Seniors and 17,258 children. Due to an increase in number of volunteers and increased donations along with fresh produce from El Rancho Grocer and Our Saviour Community Garden the pantry distributed an estimated 1,058,390 pounds of food in 2025. The organization also assists residents to connect with health nutrition job skills access to SNAP benefits via North Texas Food Bank and other social service organizations represented on site.
